Your photo session starts with a free phone or email consultation to determine what kind of portraits you are interested in. I want to learn about your family’s style, and what kind of session and setting will work best for you. Photo sessions can last up to one and a half hours. They’re usually about an hour, but I don’t count the minutes, I count the number of great shots. I want to make sure you get what you’re there for. If your child’s mood dictates that I work quickly, I can do that. If we need to take a little more time to get the right shots, no problem. Relax – if you need to change an out fit, nurse a fussy baby or take the time to make him or her laugh, we will make it happen!
To insure that I create truly classic portraits, I will have very specific recommendations as to clothing choices based on the subject(s) of the photos. Whether family portraits or newborns and babies, the choices of clothing and colors are critical to creating a feeling of timelessness about the photos.
